Management Team

Wayne has over 30 years experience in the area of program & project management and various staff roles for systems and business implementations, systems management, technical services and computer operations, for a wide variety of business needs.  He specializes in the management of complex IT infrastructure projects and assists clients in the development of plans to optimize and/or reduce operational risk.

Before establishing Balardo Group, he was a Principal with DMR Group Inc., a Senior Project Manager for the Bank of Montreal where he managed several large international and domestic projects, and had various line management and technical responsibilities with Canada Packers Ltd., the Royal Bank of Canada and the Prudential Assurance Company.

Nick has over 30 years experience in the area of executive information systems management, project/change management and has held various staff roles for systems and business implementations, technical services and computer operations, for a number of organizations.

Nick’s most recent position was Senior Vice President, Information Systems and Technology for AMEC plc.  In this capacity his responsibilities included the management of the Enterprise Systems Program, its project managers, and staff.   Further, he was responsible for all contract negotiations related to enterprise hardware/software and maintenance as well as all professional services agreements.

Prior to that Nick was Managing Director SAP National Practice for DMR Canada.  He was part of DMR's Technology Consulting Practice and was focused on the development of this market place and related consulting activities.

Kari has over 30 years of information technology systems experience. He has developed hands-on and project management experience primarily in the technical support and operations areas of information technology. In addition, Kari has experience in test planning and coordination.

Kari has over 18 years of consulting experience with several organizations, including NewLink Group Inc. and DMR Group Inc. Previously, Kari held various positions with Canadian Pacific Limited including Systems Programmer, Computer Centre Manager, Manager of Capacity Planning and Performance.

Allan Evans currently focuses on assisting Canadian companies achieve business success through the utilization of Balardo Group Consultants.  In previous roles as consultant, he has focused on maximizing the use of Information Technology and Telecommunications within the organization. This includes: Business Process / Operations Analysis and Design, Project Management, Strategic Planning (and Implementation) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Strategic Sourcing / Vendor Management and Organizational Effectiveness for Canadian, U.S. and international companies. Additionally, as part of a client assignment, he has functioned as CIO.

Prior to joining Balardo Group, Allan has worked for vendor, consulting, and user organizations in senior positions in, line management, project management, hardware/software selection, methodology/process development, market analysis/assessment, and technology implementations.  Mr. Evans also has specific expertise in business plan development and has assisted organizations in obtaining third party funding from financial institutions.
